Our logical brain tells us that a chair is shaped a certain way. So we attempt to draw what it that way. Then we're surprised when it doesn’t work. The creative brain is more effectively employed to ‘see’ the reality of the relationship of angles, shapes & forms and how they relate. Training the 'eye' to see and translate correctly eventually effortlessly fits elements together. From the initial ‘point’ in a room, to the first line formed from it, then direction and flow leading to form and scale, the elements synergize upholding the principles. There are many interpretations of the elements and principles of design. However they are foundationally secure in their essence.
